B is for…
February 2, 2008B is for Baseball…St Louis Cardinals baseball. Huge fan. Have been since Ozzie was playing shortstop in the 80’s. He’s now retired and in the Hall of Fame. I’m still cheering. Go Cards!
Books! I love to read-have my own book blog. I love just about anything except sci-fi/fantasy. I read lots of mystery, some fiction, memoirs/biographies attract me. I like nonfiction and love the reference section of the library. I really enjoy cookbooks. I read them like a regular book, pour over recipes. If they are library books I bookmark those I want to copy. I read somewhere north of 75 books a year!

2-for-1! I love the color blue! It’s the predominate color in my wardrobe. I once had a bedroom painted sky blue. I also love blue jeans. I will live in my jeans if I could! Blue also conjure up the spirit of depression-Christmas blues hit me hard every year
It’s the color of the sky that is just perfect for laying underneath and watching clouds go by. Blue can also be the color of my tongue after an Ocean Water from Sonic!

Not my high school….but I was in band. Played flute for seven years and sax for one or two. The high school I went to was so small if you were in band you were in concert, pep, marching, contest band. Yeah. Full of activities-there were two parades (a fall fair in a nearby town and a Christmas parade), playing at basketball games (so small we don’t have football!), participating in contest (which was the pre-state contest), there was two or three concerts a year. We played along side the different high school and junior high choirs. Found memories of butt-ugly uniforms, fifty gallon hats, bus trips, and a gym full of sweat, popcorn, and sneakers squeaking on the hardwood. Good times. I still have my flute. Someday I will get it out and try it again.
As I was compiling this I was munching on one of my favorite snacks: BBQ potato chips! Another B!
This is fun…can’t wait to work on C!
