Man-one would think that with baseball back I could update every day during the week. Alas, though, it’s just not working out. We’ve got computer probs at work and it’s the computer that I use to check my email and news sites. So I’ve got a very slow hi-speed connection at the front I’m attempting to use.
Just one news story to pass on-Kirby Puckett has passed away. Puckett was a lifetime Minnesota Twins outfield who led the team to two World Series. He was a Hall of Famer who retired in the 90’s after he got glaucoma. He was only 45.
Hopefully tomorrow I can blog. Was off on Sunday-took a three day weekend. Went to Joplin for the night just to get out of town/state. Enjoy myself as all I did was lounge in a hotel room for the afternoon. Sometimes you just need a breather. Got my taxes done on Monday and found out that I owe money to the state and the feds.
